Yes. EPA’s Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule (RRP Rule) requires renovation, repair, and painting projects that involve lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities and preschools built before 1978 must be done by a certified professional.

We use only premium paint products from trusted brands such as Benjamin Moore, Sherwin-Williams, Cabot and others. If you prefer using another brand, please let us know.
Our team covers all areas with plastic, drop cloths, masking paper and painter’s tape. We also use a HEPA vacuum.
All surfaces are visually examined and gently sanded, scraped or primed, as needed. If screws are sticking out, they will be reset. We remove outlet covers, wall hangings and light fixtures (if appropriate). We will re-caulk in areas like the kitchen or bathroom, if needed.
Yes, we will leave any leftover paint for future touch-up work.
Although we are not interior decorators, we can make suggestions and do carry color charts. If you have a color you like and don’t know what paint is associated with it, we can try to find a reasonable match.
We have done many significant repairs. We also – indirectly – provide some “home inspection” because we can often see damage or areas of concern due to the type of work we do.
We can move furniture and/or cover it with plastic sheeting.
Our experience with people who have trouble with the chemicals is that they often cope well with “green” low and no VOC paints. So you can rest assured that even when your home is freshly painted, you will be far less likely to react. Water-based polyurethanes are also easier for chemically sensitive people to tolerate but we have not found that they perform as well.
